Director, Brand Strategy

  • Lead the development, implementation, and execution of all brand related initiatives and activities
  • Drive and execute strategic content and communications strategies that educate and engage prospects and customers
  • Develop, manage and maintain the content calendar across all products/brands
  • Influence creative ideas about how to tell the brand story to highly specific audiences
  • Use primary and secondary customer, competitive, and trend research to provide data-based direction for brand activities, product development, and to predict future trends.
  • Develop a content strategy throughout the product development process, and influence strategic decisions to improve the overall experience and ensure consistency across platforms
  • Develop content frameworks, product narratives, and other deliverables that explain your recommendations and help people understand the practice of content strategy
  • Collaborate with internal and external design and content teams to create content in a variety of mediums for channels
  • Create quarterly goals and reporting, with the ability to effectively resource and scale
  • At least 8-10 years of brand management experience for consumer products, health & beauty experience a plus
  • At least 2 years leading brand strategy and execution
  • Proven case of launching and managing a consumer brand successfully
  • Experience marketing a brand with a retail focus including channel management, pricing strategies, and supporting promotion planning  
  • Well versed in consumer goods practices in digital and social marketing and confident taking the lead in providing either general or platform-specific recommendations
  • Strong project management and influence skills and to successfully push for deliverables across the marketing
